Danny Boyle had a brilliant 2012 for someone who did not release a single film (thanks to London 2012), and 2013 is set to be just as busy for the man from Bury.
Trance co-written by former BAFTA-winner John Hodge who also penned Boyle’s earlier works, Shallow Grave (Girl On Film review here), Trainspotting, A Life Less Ordinary and The Beach, Trance appears to be a return to the darkly psychological roots which first made Boyle famous on the Brit flick scene of the 90s.
This new red band trailer is gory and surreal, a teasing hint of will surely be a visceral experience.
THE STARS: James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel
THE PLOT: A fine art auctioneer mixed up with a criminal gang joins forces with a hypnotherapist to recover a lost painting. As boundaries between desire, reality and hypnotic suggestion begin to blur, the stakes rise faster than anyone could have anticipated.

Looks great, cant wait to see it!
